Hi, and welcome! I'm an Air Force veteran and prior law enforcement officer turned freelance marketing and content creator since 2015. My social media handles are Beyond the Uniforms because after my own financial struggles, including losing out on over $230K in savings and investments for retirement, I discovered my passion for finance and money, and wanted to help others realize that there are amazing opportunities beyond just wearing the uniform.

The systems were designed to confuse us and keep us in the dark about our money. After my own mistakes, I discovered a passion for helping others avoid common mistakes and make personal finance easy to understand.

My goal is to help others get out of bad debt, create wealth for their retirement and their families, and leave a legacy.

I wanted to share my learnings with everyone because I know not everyone has the time to sift through countless resources, confusing financial jargon, and the illusion of complex investing (*hint: these can be easy for anyone to understand, unfortunately, the "pros" have made it difficult to understand on purpose).
